Spatial repellents

A low-cost, lightweight spatial repellent developed by SC Johnson’s Base Of The Pyramid Group to address the pressing public health need of mosquito control for the most vulnerable populations. Mosquito Shield was used in large-scale RCTs to evaluate impact on malaria and dengue, funded by The Gates Foundation (Indonesia, Peru), and will be used in further RCTs funded by UNITAID (Kenya, Sri Lanka, Mali).
